Today is International Earth Day and there is no better way to capture the beauty, devastation and ever changing circumstances of the planet, than through the use of photography. Over the past couple weeks we've been on the lookout for the "Top Female Surf Photography" blogs, who do an incredible job at capturing the majestic quality and unpredictably of the ocean. After lots of searching, conversations and even debates, this is who we think makes the list (in no particular order): [caption id="attachment_2707" align="aligncenter" width="638"]brooklyn_hawai'i (photo credit:[/caption] Brooklyn Hawai'i  Brooke Dombroski is a 28 year old photographer and graphic designer, who grew up on the beaches of the North Shore. Brooke spend most of her childhood at the beach with her father, who has been a North Shore lifeguard for 34 years now. She is one of the busiest girls around, but she manages to keep up with her Brooklyn Hawai'i Blog. Photography is Brooke's passion and although it is what she would love to call a full-time job, photography remains her hobby for now. She mostly takes portraits, focusing on women and highlighting their beauty in their natural element and most of her photographs tend to be fashion oriented. Mikala Mikala Wilbow Photographer Mikala Wilbow is a surf lifestyle photographer who focuses on capturing the essence of the surfing life and everything that comes with it. Like most of us, she took a while to figure out how she can live every day loving what she does and keeping a smile on her face. Thus, she decided to base her work around her lifestyle, combining her love for water, surfing and photography. Mikala's pictures are a reflection of who she is, both as a person and as a photographer. Every day she wakes up to the sunlight of the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia and goes surfing with her husband and friends. Whenever Mikala goes to the coast she doesn't let go of her camera. She prefers the uncrowded beaches and she's driven by her love for the ocean and surf that she captures everyday in her photo shoots and photo travels. Vivant Vie Vivant Vie    Sarah Lee grew up on a coffee farm in Kona on the Big Island of Hawai'i, where she currently shoots most of her photographs. Her best known shots are the underwater ones, that are simply stunning. Sarah's love for surf and underwater photography emerged from her earlier years of competitive swimming and surfing. This amazing photographer likes to give up control to the ocean in order to magnify the best in what surrounds her, enjoying the constant state of change in water clarity, lighting, currents and so on. Sharah's photographs serve as a way of documenting the lives of people that enjoy water, around the world. She describes her shots as being a result of the perfect planning of being in the place of perfect accidents.
