Australia's Biggest Wave Award' Marti Paradisis Pedra Branca Rock Surf Surfing Life Surfing Life’s Oakley Big Wave Awards

url Tasmanian surfer, Marti Paradisis, was announced winner of Australia's Biggest Wave Award, scoring $20,000 for his efforts. The enormous wave that Parasisis rode off Pedra Branca Rock has been judged as being the largest wave ridden in Australasia in 2012. In the 10 year history of the Surfing Life’s Oakley Big Wave Awards, Paradisis has won every award, but never the big pot, the Biggest Wave Award. The subsidiary paddle-in award was won by Paul "Antman" Paterson, Tyler Hollmer-Cross, and Jeff "Camel" Goulden, who score a $5,000 each, and the Biggest Slab Award was secured by South African, Grant "Twiggy" Baker, who also pocketed an extra $5,000.
